As we push through the garden gate of the old homestead,
we are surprised at how much smaller things are than we remembered them,
and how much work needs to be done.

Beaded tree made in 1965, by Lillian Ellsworth Sherman.
Her gr granddaughter inherited her box of beads. She was fascinated by the tree when she saw it while visiting her grandmother this month. Now, she wants to learn the craft.
Wow, I've never seen a beaded tree, and considering all that work, I'm glad it could last forever. Thanks Fran for showing it.
