As we push through the garden gate of the old homestead,
we are surprised at how much smaller things are than we remembered them,
and how much work needs to be done.
Simply charming, and it goes well with the little falling stars or snow flakes. Must be one of your 13. Bet you are in full force getting the garden ready for the season. I thought fire ants ate people, not gardens. Once in the Army standing at attention, they attached us, crawling up our legs..never forgot that.
FANTASTIC, BEAUTIFUL, WONDEROUS, FABULOUS!!
Thanks Barbara, you are soooo right! Fire Ants do eat people, my grandson was moving a pot that I saw had fire ant on it. I said throw it away! He started screaming as they bit him and held it tighter...sigh, poor baby. I feel for the soldiers at home you can drop your jeans and get rid of them. Thanks Carol.
What a wonderful picture. Is that a granddaughter? Boy, I'm glad I don't have fire ants, sounds awful. It's getting to be that garden time here in Arizona also... another season to battle the gophers, it's like Caddy Shack in my backyard. But I keep trying.
The wonder of childhood....the simplicity of a bubble. Award winning photo hummer.
How lovely - and what a little sweetie she is!
Is that a ball in her hand? or is it really a bubble?!?! Fasinating. One for the story books... The Bubble charmer. Once long ago the king of the bubbles fell in love with her inocent face and the amazment with which she watched his creations. Thence forth went the decree... All bubbles must honor her as they honor me. Though all the other fairies love to play with them, the bubles pop from fear at the touch of any but the tinny fairy who won their love. She calls to them and they come running. To dance about her in delight. Dosilly they land in her hand and share their dreams and secrets with her. Never will age touch her fairy face for with the love of bubbles comes the immortality of childhood.Love youmE
Hi My daughter mE. She has a transparent ball that has glitter running around in it in her hand...She was comparing it to the bubbles. Love the story.
Awww, I love this photo. She is such a cutie! This is a great picture!!
